One of things we like best about boudoir and beauty photography is that it shows a woman that she possesses the same beauty as women that are often idolized in magazines. Here is a “before & after” series of photos for a makeover we did at the studio. Hair & Makeup by Melissa Ladner.

The title of this post is one of my favorite sentiments that I have received from a client.

As women, we are always striving for perfection. In doing so we tend to overemphasize the negative aspects of our bodies. Everyday we judge ourselves when standing too close to a mirror in poor lighting and only focus on our perceived imperfections.

Seeing yourself through someone else’s eyes can be a huge confidence boost because you get to see your whole self, without judging the first thing you notice in the mirror.

Through boudoir photography, you can realize the beauty that you might not have known you possess.
