Why did you decide to do a boudoir session?
To boost my self confidence!

I chose TAIT because I thought her photos were the most classy and elegant I had seen.

How did you prepare for your boudoir session?
I went to the gym, ate healthy, and bought some new lingerie! As a makeup artist myself, I did my own makeup and hair. But I highly recommend having a professional do this for you so that you look your best in the photos!

Are the photos for yourself or for a gift?
The images are for myself and I couldn’t be happier!

I was very nervous at first but left with a ton of confidence! It was fun!

Why did you decide to do a boudoir photo session?
I thought it would be a wonderful wedding gift for my fiance.

Why did you choose TAIT Photography?
I heard about you through SHE Lingerie, checked out the website and liked what I saw.

How did you prepare for your boudoir shoot?
I exercise regularly, but probably a little extra the month before! Bought some sexy lingerie, painted my nails.

Who are your boudoir photos for?
My fiance will be thrilled!!

How was the experience?
I had a really fun time, was only nervous for the first minute or so.

How do you feel about your boudoir photos?
I really love them! I had a lot of favorites and it was so hard to pick! I loved a lot of the ones of just my face as well, but because of the purpose of this gift I chose ones that showed my body as well.

Women Posing for Valentine’s Day Photos | Metro News Article

Virgin 98.5 Morning Show with Marc, Dani & Fuzzy

This past Wednesday morning I was “on air” at the Morning Show with Marc, Dani & Fuzzy on Virgin Radio 98.5 and was so excited to be a part of the show! The radio conversation was in anticipation of Dani’s boudoir session that I will be photographing this weekend at my studio in Inglewood. I’m really looking forward to the session. Dani said she is nervous about doing her boudoir photos (as is normal), but I was so nervous going on the radio! Well they were great hosts at Virgin 98.5 and made me feel at ease, which is my aim with all of the boudoir sessions so I can return the favour.

Boudoir Client Photos Featured in Best Health Magazine

Four of my past boudoir clients’ stories are featured along with the images I took of them in the May edition of Best Health magazine which has just become available on the newsstands. This process started about 6 months ago so I am finally glad to see it in print. I am checking with the magazine to see if I can get permission to reproduce the pages on my blog, but until then go grab a copy and turn to page 150 where the article begins. The article is titled “Move Over Marilyn: For the ultimate confidence boost, dare to try a boudoir shoot” by Ann Chandler.

Lucy’s Boudoir Photography Experience – Calgary

Lucy had her images done in Calgary and her hair & makeup was done by Jackie Johnson.

What made you want to have boudoir photos taken?
I took some glamour shots when I was 16 that included hair and makeup with the photo shoot. It was also a milestone for me since I was turning sweet 16. I turned 30 this year which was another milestone for me. I wanted to find a photographer that specialized in taking sexy, classy photos that included hair and make up with the photo session. When I’m older I want to be able to look back at these photos and say “WOW I looked amazing when I was 30!” I also wanted to do something that got me out of my comfort zone, something I would never do. Looking back at the photos I took when I was 16 I looked much older than I do in these recent photos-which make me extremely happy!

How did you prepare for your boudoir session?
I went tanning, got my nails done, got a pedicure and had a hair appointment the day before. I wanted to make sure my hair was fresh (cut & color) for the shoot the next day. I had hard time finding lingerie I liked in the stores so I did some online shopping. I also wanted to wear outfits that you wouldn’t find at any lingerie stores in the city.

Who are your boudoir photos for?
These images are a gift for myself for turning 30 and a 10 year anniversary gift for my boyfriend.

Have you given your boyfriend the images yet, what did he think?
I let him look at my photos right away and pick out his favorites. Of course his favorite images are the ones with his bike helmet. He said I looked very hot and sexy.

What did you think of the experience of having the images done?
I was nervous at first but my nerves vanished as soon as I met Erica. She was very professional, personable, and easy to work with. I had so much fun and would do another photo session. I tell family and friends about the website and to seriously consider doing a photo shoot. It’s also a great gift idea for the one you love.

How do you feel about your boudoir photos?
I’m so happy and excited about them. I love looking at them and I can’t believe its actually me in the photos. I want to share them with everyone I know!

Which images are your favorites?
My favorite images are the ones with my boyfriend’s helmet, the photos where I’m wearing the black corset with leggings, and the “in between the sheet” ones.

Is there any other info or interesting story about your experience?
I enjoyed getting my hair and makeup done. It relaxed me before the shoot. Jackie, the makeup artist was amazing. She really knew how to accentuate my best facial features. I felt confident that my images would turn out great. Hair, makeup, outfits, all came together perfectly.
