Why did you want to have a boudoir session?
I wanted to be able to give my groom-to-be an extra special wedding gift — and one that he would never expect!
Why did you choose TAIT Photography?
I read some great reviews of TAIT photography on some wedding websites, and I liked the idea of shooting in a hotel room (it seemed so mysterious!)
How did you prepare for your boudoir session?
I spent a lot of time at Victoria’s Secret — and in my closet (and his!) — picking out outfits that were sexy, but made me feel comfortable and confident.
Who are are your boudoir photos for?
The photos are a wedding gift for my fiance, and I am SURE he will be flabbergasted! I can’t believe how great they turned out!
How was the experience?
Having boudoir photos done is something that I never expected I would have the guts to do, so it was a huge confidence builder, especially now — seeing the final products and how well they came out.
How do you feel about your boudoir photos?
I’m really excited about them! They are very classy, but still sexy. I like that.
Why should other women do a boudoir session?
I’ve read that for the majority of women feel better about themselves and their physical appearance on their wedding day than at any other point of their lives, and I think it’s important to be able to capture that on film. Sometimes we’re so critical of ourselves, that it’s nice to be able to stand back and look at the photos and think, “I looked hot!”

What made you want to have boudoir photos taken?
I wanted to give my fiance a gift for our wedding that only he could truly appreciate. I thought that the album would be a cute and unique gift.

How did you prepare for your boudoir photo session?
I laid out my outfits down to the last detail including my jewelry, shoes, and hair style ideas. I also made sure that I had a fresh manicure, pedicure, and eyebrow wax. Surprisingly, those little details made a big difference in my photo shoot.
Who are these boudoir images for?
My fiance, but I have encouraged all of my female friends to do a boudoir session. I think the images truly capture a woman’s beauty and encourage a special kind of confidence. Even if the pictures are not a gift for someone else, they are wonderful to have for yourself.

Have you given your partner the images yet, what did he think? If you haven’t given them how do you think he will react?
Since this is a surprise for him, he has not seen them yet and actually does not know that I did the photo shoot. However, I know he will be blown away. I plan to have the album delivered to him shortly before our wedding ceremony. I know he will be excited to see me after he receives it.

What did you think of the experience of having the images done?
The entire experience was a lot of fun and I would definitely do it again. Erica did a great job of making me feel comfortable.
How do you feel about your images?
I loved the way the images turned out. I think they captured a more glamorous version of myself but yet still looks like me. I only wish I could look that put-together everyday!

Which images are your favourites?
My favourite images are the ones incorporating my fiance’s military uniform and dog tags. The military is a big part of his life and I know he will enjoy those pictures the most.

Is there any other info or interesting story about your experience?
A few months ago, I had come out of remission (I have Lupus) and gained 30 pounds from a combination of water weight and medication. When I started to loose the weight and feel better, I scheduled my photo shoot. My fiance and I have been through so much in dealing with my illness, but despite of the physical changes I go through, he constantly tells me that I am beautiful and is there to support me. When I got my images back and saw myself back to normal, I knew that this would be more than just photos to him. It would be a tribute to the fact that we survived many trials and tribulations due to my illness.
