I love these images of Marianne. She wore the birdcage veil and I thought these images would be perfect for a vintage inspired look.
I have a black and a white birdcage veil that I bring to all my sessions that you can use if you would like a similar look for yourself.
Girl’s Night Out was a great success and we raised over $750 for the Women’s Centre while having fun watching the fashion show, belly dancer, enjoying massages and ‘shopping’ for raffle prizes.

Most of our lovely models (all but one!) I only had a few minutes to photograph each of them in they alley before the show started.

If you are tuning into this blog from Nelson, BC there is a super fun event happening next Friday at Kootenai Moon Furniture on Baker Street. It’s called Girl’s Night Out and it will have mini massages by Mountain Waters Spa and a fashion show with designs from Global Underground. There will also be a raffle with tons of fabulous prizes donated from local business. Admission is free and raffles proceeds will benefit Nelson’s Women’s Centre.

I posted about the mini-workshop I attended a few months ago with the Boudoir Divas of Woman Captured Studio in San Diego. Well I just finished the two-day intensive and it was awesome. It was great to meet more women who shoot boudoir and celebrate it because of the empowering effect the images have on the girls we shoot!
Stay tuned for some really smokin’ boudoir shots… but for now…
